Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Do I Need a Therapist To Heal From This

Do you suffer from Narcissistic Abuse? Have you been abused by a narcissist and now suffer from insomnia, bulimia, and depression? Do you feel like running back to the narcissist and wonder if you need a therapist to help you through this time?

Julia is a Youtube Subscriber to my channel who has escaped from the clutches of a narcissistic boyfriend. Although she felt like going back to him, she was able to stay away. Once she felt validated by the information on my channel, she was able to then validate herself. From there she confronted her parents about how she was feeling, and they too validated her as well. BRAVO FAMILY!

Julia asked if she thought it was necessary to seek the help of a therapist during this time. My advice is to do your research on the therapist you wish to work with and to know what to expect from the work you would do with a qualified professional. I do believe working with qualified professionals offers a benefit, especially when dealing with particular traumas. However, we must never forget that ultimately we must be our own advocates.

Please enjoy Julia's story and her success. After understanding a little more about narcissistic abuse, she was able to understand why she was also suffering from insomnia, depression, bulimia, and anxiety. The more we understand why we do what we do, the more compassion we can have for the divine self. Love yourself Dear Ones, no matter what--you are enough!

Children of narcissistic parents, who are now suffering from codependency symptoms, may be struggling to learn how to love themselves after narcissistic abuse. Narcissists tend to attract people pleasers, or codependent personalities. Because codependents are eager to please, because they seek outside validation, they are easy targets for narcissistic lovers, and friends.

It is not easy to learn how to love yourself after narcissistic abuse, but with the right codependency recovery tools it is possible. It is even possible to find love after codependency.
